But there\u2019s a pretty good chance that\u2019s not a response to something you\u2019ve done. In fact, it might not even be directed at you.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When an INTJ does a death glare, that can mean several things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s see what\u2019s behind the death stare of this rarest personality type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Theyre_in_the_Deep_Thought_Process\"><\/span>They&#8217;re in the Deep Thought Process<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>INTJs have a tendency to lose themselves in thought. They spend a lot of time inside their heads, especially when they\u2019re bored.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you zone out, your brain switches focus from the outside to the inside world. But it\u2019s not just your brain that\u2019s disengaged.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your <a href=\"https:\/\/theswaddle.com\/what-causes-our-minds-to-zone-out\/\">pupils also fail to respond to changes<\/a> in your environment. So when they\u2019re troubled by something, that will occupy their thoughts to the point of getting disconnected from the outside world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is an INTJ giving you a death stare or just looking <em>through you<\/em>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If their eyes are following your movement, then the glare is definitely pointed at you. But that doesn\u2019t mean they\u2019re made of stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, people with an INTJ personality type are quite emotional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the <a href=\"https:\/\/intjsecrets.com\/blog\/intj-strengths-and-weaknesses\/\">weaknesses of INTJs<\/a> is &#8211; they\u2019re not easy to trust. So when their trust is broken, they take it really hard.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And if you were to hurt them, you\u2019d probably be responded with a death stare and silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As you know, INTJs don\u2019t like talking about emotions, so they won\u2019t say much in such a situation. But they don\u2019t really need to, as their eyes will do the talking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Theyre_Angry\"><\/span>They&#8217;re Angry<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If an INTJ is angry at you, they will serve you a death stare.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And one thing that makes them angry the most is <strong>ignorance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You see, education is extremely important to INTJs. And I don\u2019t mean just academically. INTJs love learning new things in every aspect.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They like basing their opinions on facts, so they\u2019ll research anything before stating their beliefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But what they absolutely hate is when other people don\u2019t do the same. When faced with ignorance, a death stare in disbelief is how they react.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Theyre_Bored\"><\/span>They&#8217;re Bored<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In about 50% of cases, an INTJ will stare because they\u2019re bored. In other words, they zoned out, thinking about something more interesting than their surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.giphy.com\/media\/vyRc8ZUhymYmRDPd7x\/giphy.webp\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>INTJs are <strong>easily bored<\/strong>. Now, that is not surprising. Some of INTJ\u2019s favorite hobbies include visiting museums, taking classes, running marathons, etc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And let\u2019s be real &#8211; most people don\u2019t need to go that far to find fun. Watching a sitcom or playing karaoke can be enough sometimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One thing INTJs\u2019 hobbies say about them is that their mind needs constant stimulation to make things interesting. But INTJ\u2019s cognitive function needs more than that to be satisfied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So let\u2019s say you\u2019re watching a movie with an INTJ for the third time. They already know the plot, so they won\u2019t learn anything new from watching it again. And voila, that\u2019s an instant cue for the brain to disconnect and zone out.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Theyre_Neutral\"><\/span>They&#8217;re Neutral<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>INTJs don\u2019t give out much with their nonverbal communication. Don\u2019t expect to see lots of facial expressions and illustrative gestures from a person with this personality type.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An INTJ person might add a bit of emotion when talking about things they\u2019re deeply interested in. But if they\u2019re neutral on the subject, they\u2019ll also be neutral in their behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>INTjs are pretty straightforward in their communication. So, they\u2019ll point their attention towards the person they\u2019re talking with. That means they\u2019ll look them in the eyes during the conversation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, a straight face and emotionless tone don\u2019t do INTJs much good in this case. You\u2019re worthy of their attention, and they\u2019re not afraid to show it. Now, that happens every time an INTJ needs to make a tough decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People with this personality type like to gather as much intel as possible before making up their minds. And processing that much information is definitely not an easy task. Not if they\u2019re doing it to defend their ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You see, an INTJ takes great pride in their knowledge based on facts and critical thinking. It\u2019s kind of like their treasure.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And when opposed, they\u2019ll defend what they believe in at the cost of starting a fight. Being right is extremely important for this personality type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How do you know an INTJ is ready to fight?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their facial expression might not show much emotion, but their eyes will do the talking. But if you keep bugging them when they are feeling that way, they might give you the death stare.
